Sheltered Yoga’s 4th Annual Booty Call!
Feb 26 @ 5:23 am
Sheltered Yoga's 4th Annual Booty Call!
It’s our annual Booty call!!!
Do you have piles of clothes and household items or baby/kid items sitting in your basement or attic taking up a ton of space?
Here is your time to pack it all up for Sheltered Yoga!
We are collecting clothes for any age (babies and larger adult clothes are really scarce), as well as household items (anything for cooking, bedding, towels (all sizes) and baby/kid items like Boppy pillows, hammock seats, etc.
In the baby category (for locations that we serve with moms and babies) they need:
Unisex:
Bottles, car seat and stroller covers, baby clothes and hats, grooming kids
Also:
Baby wipes, Batteries (AA, C & D), and towels and blankets for kids & adults.
For our homeless populations that we serve (men and women):
T-shirts, undershirts, underwear, bras & socks (they can be used or new- new is always better but it’s okay), dry shampoo.
Here is our caveat for us coming to you/meeting you to pick up all your stuff, sorting, delivering, documenting for you- so you can see the actual communities that received your donations, etc. (We deliver everything directly to the sites so we know it is getting used by the individuals that need it the most). We ask that with any amount of items you donate, you must include any one or more of the following items (as they are greatly needed):
* Feminine products (tampons, pads, etc.)
* Nonperishable healthy snacks that we give out after our classes (kids & adults)
* Socks
* And/or a monetary donation to Sheltered Yoga’s programming.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! We got so many clothing and monetary donations last year that helped so many people…it was fantastic!!!
Think about also running a drive for all the items in your place of business, school, place of worship, etc.
Thanks again.
